Meal Prep: Make these before you head off for work, or the night before. Add to the fridge in a container or quart bag. Storage: Will hold in the fridge for 2 days, may get soggy though.
These Low Calorie Roast Beef Sandwiches are just 253 calories, and that includes the “Copycat” sauce!
I was able to make this recipe extra low calorie with the help of my low calorie burger buns. But you can use store-bought if you prefer.
Special Tip: To cut the calories and carbs in store-bought burger buns simply cut the buns in half and hollow out the centers. This will save you about 1/3 of the calories and carbs!

Low Calorie “Arby’s” Sauce:
⅛cupketchup
⅛cupwater
2teaspoonsSteak Sauce
½teaspoonbrown sugar
½teaspoonwhite vinegar
¼teaspoonhot sauce
⅛teaspoononion powder
⅛teaspoongarlic powder
⅛teaspoonsalt
⅛teaspoonpepper
⅛teaspoonnutmeg
Mix the ingredients for the “Arby’s” Sauce in a small bowl. Set aside.
Heat a dry skillet over medium high heat.
Slice the burger bun in half and lightly toast in the hot pan.
Add 2 cups of water to a microwave safe bowl and add to the microwave. Cook for 2-3 minutes until very hot.
Use tongs and dip the sliced roast beef into the hot water for 30 seconds. Working in batches as needed.
Add 3 ounces of roast beef to each sandwich, top with homemade “Arby’s” Sauce and serve hot.
These sandwiches can also be made cold (skip warming the beef) and placed in a lunch box for take to work and school lunches.
Low Sodium Tips: You can lower the sodium by getting “low sodium” roast beef. Also either skip the sauce, or use low sodium ketchup and remove the salt from the sauce recipe.
