Here is one we want to give a try soon from Cookpad Spain.

Peel the potatoes using potato pillar.

  • Then wash them and put them to dry.

  • Heat oil in a deep pan in a medium heat.

  • Then cut the potatoes in to small longitudinal strips though not so thin.

  • Then slowly by slowly put them i the heated oil. This prevents oil frm sparting.

  • The chips frying should be equal to the amount of oil cooking it i.e don’t add too many chips in small amount of oil

  • After 15 minutes turn the chips and and let it cook for 5 more minutes.

  • Remove from the heat and put it a side on a crip paper to drain all the fats.

  • After 5 minutes return to the heating oil and fry for the second time. This makes it dry and crunchy.

  • Put in a bowl and allow to cool. Add salt according to your taste and preference. You can add tomato sauce or not.
