Homemade Chips:
Peel the potatoes using potato pillar.
Then wash them and put them to dry.
Heat oil in a deep pan in a medium heat.
Then cut the potatoes in to small longitudinal strips though not so thin.
Then slowly by slowly put them i the heated oil. This prevents oil frm sparting.
The chips frying should be equal to the amount of oil cooking it i.e don’t add too many chips in small amount of oil
After 15 minutes turn the chips and and let it cook for 5 more minutes.
Remove from the heat and put it a side on a crip paper to drain all the fats.
After 5 minutes return to the heating oil and fry for the second time. This makes it dry and crunchy.
Put in a bowl and allow to cool. Add salt according to your taste and preference. You can add tomato sauce or not.
