Ingredients:
- 6 red peppers (halved, with all the seeds and membrane removed)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 white onion (chopped)
- 1 tablespoon garlic (minced)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup half and half
- 1/4 cup low fat cream cheese
- 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon basil (minced)
- Salt and red pepper flakes (to taste)
- 1 pound pasta (cooked)
- Fresh basil and parmesan cheese for garnish
