Packed with RICH CHOCOLATE and BRIGHT CITRUS FLAVORS, Chocolate Chip Stollen – known as Schoki-Stollen in Germany – might become your new holiday favorite.

Why I Love This Chocolate Chip Stollen Recipe: A Low-CarbTwist on Tradition
Inspired by a lesser-known Stollen, the chocolate Stollen sold in Dresden, I decided to make a healthy copycat. The result? A chocolate Stollen recipe that tastes amazing!
What’s the secret? The recipe uses low-carb, heart-healthy almond flour instead of high-carb all-purpose flour. Almond flour is, in fact, the perfect swap since ground almonds are a key ingredient in traditional Stollen. So, the flavor is spot-on.
If you want to take this another step and make a diabetic-friendly or keto Stollen, sweeten this recipe with monk fruit, a natural zero-calorie sweetener. You can also use SUGAR-FREE CHOCOLATE CHIPS and SUGAR-FREE DARK CHOCOLATE for a decadent touch without the extra sugar.

Thanks to the richness of almond flour, these treats are as satisfying as they are delicious. Truly, a little goes a long way!

Make the Stollen Dough
Combine the almond flour, sugar (or a zero-calorie sugar replacement such as monk fruit), salt, cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg, and optional xanthan gum in a large mixing bowl.
TIP: Be sure to use level teaspoons of the spices.

Put the Stollen loaf on the parchment paper.
