Low Cal Sangria:
Low Cal Sangria
Sangria is usually loaded with hidden sugars and syrups, but a low-calorie version can be made using sparkling lemon-lime- or orange-flavored water to reduce calories. When you make this tasty cocktail, be sure to choose flavored water with no added sugar.
- 1 bottle red wine
- 1 apple, cut into bite-size pieces
- 1 pear, cut into bite-size pieces
- 1 orange, segmented
- ½ cup berries, cut into bite-size pieces
- 16 ounce sparkling flavored water
- Mix the bottle of red wine with fiber-rich fruit like pears, apples, berries, and oranges. The more fruit you add, the more full you will feel. Combine it all and set in the fridge to chill. When you’re ready to serve, add two cups of cold flavored sparkling water and serve.
