Ingredients You’ll Need:
Olive oil spray
8 ounces Low Calorie Breakfast Sausage (see recipe card)
¼ cup of flour
2 ½ cup unsweetened almond milk
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper

Meal Prep: You can make the biscuits and the gravy ahead of time and store them separately. Just reheat to serve. Storage: Will hold for 6 days in the fridge. Or one month in the freezer. Reheating: You can reheat biscuits in an oven at 200-250 degrees. Reheat the gravy on the stovetop on low heat.
These Low Calorie Biscuits and Gravy are just as good as the full fat version, but guilt free!
You get one full biscuit and about 1/3 cup gravy and sausage. It’s a very filling and large portion.
Special Tip: If you don’t like the meat in the recipe you can skip it, or use Vegan Sausage.

Spray a skillet with olive oil and heat over medium heat.
Add in the low calorie sausage and cook through, then remove to a plate to cool.
Add the flour to the skillet and 1/2 cup of milk. Whisk together until you have no lumps, then add the remaining almond milk and cook, mixing often until thick, about 5 minutes.
Meanwhile chop or crumble the cooked sausage.
Once the gravy is thick, add in the crumbled sausage, salt and pepper and mix well.
