This Low Calorie Rice Cooker Quinoa is great for meal prepping and batch cooking! You can use the instructions for all colors and blends of quinoa.

Meal Prep: This is such a great meal prep recipe. Make ahead of time, cool completely, then store in the fridge for later. Storage: Will hold for 6 days in the fridge. Reheating: Though you can eat quinoa cold, you can also reheat in the microwave for 2-3 minutes. Or on the stovetop over low heat.
Rice cooker quinoa is great for meal prep, or for making your favorite quinoa salad recipes.
We like to use water for meal prepping, and chicken or vegetable broth for salads and side dishes. Choose whichever you prefer, broth will give it a richer flavor that works great with savory dishes.
Special Note: This recipe will yield 2 cups of cooked quinoa.

Add the quinoa to a fine mesh strainer, and rinse with cold water.
Pour the quinoa, broth or water, and salt to the rice cooker.
Press cook, or click the ‘white rice’ function.
Cook, undisturbed (don’t take the lid off) for about 30 minutes until all the water is absorbed.
Fluff with a fork and serve, or set aside to cool for meal prep.
