The vinegary, peppery flavor really livens up this low cal soup. It’s nicknamed 2-4-6 soup – 2 cups, 4 cups or 6 cups of all the main ingredients. Just 125 calories for a large 2-cup serving.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp Oregano, ground
  • 1 tsp Pepper, black
  • 1 tbsp Pepper, red or cayenne
  • 1 tbsp Basil
  • 1 cup, shredded Cabbage, red, fresh
  • 2 cup, diced Celery, raw
  • 6.50 cup Cabbage, napa
  • 4 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap
  • 2 cup Del Monte Petite Cut Diced Tomatoes
  • 2 cup Carrot – raw, chopped
  • 2 cup Onion – Raw, chopped
  • 4 serving Clove of Garlic
  • 1 serving 1 cup green pepper chopped
  • 2 tbsp (C) Vinegar, Red Wine (Gr Value)
  • 1 serving bush’s reduced sodium great northern beans 15.8 oz can rinsed and drained
  • 3 cup Swanson Chicken Broth 99% Fat Free
  • 2 tbsp Land O Lakes light butter with canola oil

Instructions:

  1. Melt butter in a large stock pot.
  2. Saute onion and celery.
  3. Add all remaining ingredients and stir to mix.
  4. Simmer 1 hour.
  5. Stir, adjust seasoning as desired.
  6. Serving Size:makes twelve 2-cup servings
