Low-Guilt Hot Chocolate:

This hot chocolate definitely takes a while to get used to (especially if you’re used to the classic sugary stuff), but at 100 calories a serving (35 if you don’t like whipped cream), it’s a bargain. It gives me something hot to drink in the morning and after years of drinking bitter hot chocolate, I can’t even go back to the normal sweet stuff.

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz Almond Breeze Almond Milk, Unsweetened Vanilla
  • 1/2 tbsp Cocoa, dry powder, unsweetened
  • 4 serving Reddiwip Original Whipped Light Cream

Instructions:

  1. Place the almond milk and cocoa powder in a saucepan. Heat over medium, whisking constantly, until the cocoa powder is well mixed into the milk and the milk is bubbling. Pour into a cup and top with whipped cream. I like to add about 1/2 cup water to the milk before I heat it so that it seems like I'm drinking more and I feel more full.
  2. Serving Size: Serves 1
